What is Life|Spoken Word Poetry

At times people would wonder

what is life?

How do we live?, what do we live for?

How can we live for the future we don’t see?

How can we close our eyes and not see the reality?

How can we open our eyes to open fantasies?

Separate real from unreal

fake from mediocres

love from lust

Is it all in our head?

Do we really not see it yet?

Are our eyes not open candid?

What do we see in this faces?

Faith?, hope?, lust?, love?, hatred?, pain?, depression?, struggles?, trials?, temptation?

It is real,

Not a figure of imagination

Not a structure in construction

What a fated lie within our grasp

This is life

When the spirit leaves the body empty, lost, lifeless, antagonized, forgotten, dead

Dust to dust whence you come

Now you begin to see life through life

You see it now? don’t you?

Time after time we forget why?

Value added, value lost

Pain and despair we only know and give. Tears flood our innermost sorrows.

Deep buried inside, we hide.

it’s a disease, an epidemic wide at spread, taking the hearts  & life of many.

Should we blame it on the devil?

Oh bullies thou be gone?

Trying to take matters up, source revenge, source defeat, source freedom.

Taking up life against death, in aim to end it just for now, just forever.

Cause more pain to thou beloved, is it over now?

Ah I guess not

Wait, don’t you see the pill? it’s already been taken

Jesus took the pill

Why can’t you take the cure and not Wonder

What is Life.
